Frequently Asked Questions

The Ranch Club is private club located within The Ranch Club residential community. Situated on 343 acres, members need not be residents of the community. In addition, given the significant popularity of Missoula as a travel destination, the club does provide a limited number of reciprocal play.

The Ranch Club offers an 18-hole Les Furber Links-Style golf course carved from the rolling hills, year-round clubhouse, driving range, swimming complex featuring four unique pools, and a state-of-the art fitness center. Aside from primary club amenities, Members also enjoy a year list of additional club activities.

Clubhouse amenities include a popular restaurant, with perhaps, the best outdoor patio dining area in Montana (open during the summer) as well as a fully-stocked golf shop.

Transformed from historic ranch land, The Ranch Club offers golfers of all skill levels panoramic views nestled within a traditional links-style course designed by renowned architect, Les Furber. A creative design playable from 450 to 7000 yards, combining elements and risk/reward shots, creates a strong challenge for the scratch player, yet also accommodates the novice through numerous sets of tees on each hole.
The restaurant is open to the public and provides a great service year-round. The menu is classified as upscale "Grille" offering traditional comfort favorites as well as outstanding culinary specials using regional and fresh ingredients prepared by our Executive Chef and his support team. Dining demand has grown over the past few years so we highly recommend booking a reservation. Also, the seasonality of golf course traffic adjusts hours at the restaurant. During Winter months December through March dinner service only is typically offered Wednesday through Saturday. By early May the restaurant transitions back to 7-day lunch and dinner service.
Private golf clubs in seasonal climates typically require 12 months of dues payments because the club operates as a year-round business, even when golf play is limited or paused. The practice isn’t about charging for access every month, it’s about sustaining the club’s long-term health.
We foster an uplifting, welcoming culture that’s genuinely fun to be around—one that’s energetic, positive, and naturally contagious. It’s a place where people show up with a great attitude, feel comfortable being themselves, and enjoy connecting with others. Our community is built around young, active families who love spending time together and embracing recreation in all four seasons. From golf and outdoor activities to dining, events, and everyday moments, we celebrate shared experiences, laughter, and togetherness. The result is a vibrant environment where families feel at home, relationships grow easily, and being part of the community simply feels good.
Although the golf course is the centerpiece of the club, the experience extends well beyond golf—especially during the winter months. Members enjoy access to our fitness club, groomed cross-country skiing trails, sled riding, ice skating, and a wide variety of engaging indoor activities, ensuring year-round recreation and connection
The Ranch Club operates multiple commercial kitchens, including the clubhouse restaurant, the event barn, and off-site mobile kitchens. In 2025, the Club acquired Bravo Catering and continues to provide off-site catering services within a 150-mile radius, extending our hospitality beyond the Club and into the surrounding region.
